Last week, members of the SunLight General Capital team attended the RE+ convention in Las Vegas, joining more than 40,000 professionals to discuss the future of renewable energy. Our team included both project developers and one of our technical directors: Peter, our Director of Engineering; Kira, who is developing multiple projects scheduled to come online in 2025 and 2026 in New York State and New Jersey; and Bailey, who has recently expanded SunLight’s project pipeline with new opportunities on the West Coast and continues to advance ongoing acquisition deals.
In spite of some of the industry headwinds from supply chain concerns and ITC phase out, SunLight, thanks to its sound financial footing, is actively deploying capital into new projects especially ahead of safe harbor deadlines. Coming back from RE+ has reinforced our strong belief that solar and batteries will continue for the long term to play a key role in helping to meet America’s growing demand for clean and reliable energy.
