Mark Helmka, an electrician with SunLight’s O&M team, works to ensure peak functionality and operation of SunLight’s portfolio of over 125 solar installations. Before joining SunLight, Mark spent four years with Pfister Energy, a New Jersey-based solar energy integrator. As electrical foreman during construction on several military bases throughout the country, he oversaw the construction of over 13MW of installed solar capacity. Mark began his eight years of electrical experience with Star-Lo Electric, before moving on to T-Tech Electric, where he headed up the Electrical O&M unit at a large department store. Previously, Mark spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Iraq War.
